My name is Amanda Jane but most know me as A.J.

I'm 18 years old and I love racing cars.

I attend Piper High School where my GPA is a 4.2 ~ If it falls below 4.0 the car gets parked.

I raced go-karts four years before moving up to B-Mods. I'm in my third season of racing B-Modifieds now.

Tom Charles and Bobby Layne, of Eagle Racing Team, are my mentors.  Their wins combined are over 800.

My life is all about racing.  That is all I’ve ever really wanted to do.  My plans for the future include getting a mechanical engineering degree, and racing for a living.

My car # is 4, because I was born on August 4th. 

Some of my favorite things include...

• Friday nights I love to go racing or watch some of my friend race.
• Saturday nights I race at Central Missouri Speedway.
• Car:  1968 GTO All-American muscle car.
• Color:  Blue.
• Food:  Anything I don’t have to cook.
• Music:  New Country and old Rock.
• Movie:  Disney’s Cars because it really shows how much you can learn from anyone and goes back to how you race on a dirt track.
• I like all kinds of ice cream.
• Holidays:  All of them since we get out of school.
• Song:  “Amanda” by Boston, that’s where my parents got the idea for my name.
• Place:  Any racetrack.
• Season:  Easy! Summer, when racing season is here and also my birthday.
